A bare rooted or loose rooted plant is one that has been ground-grown, dug up when dormant or semi-dormant, soil removed, roots pruned and readied for transport to be planted into pots or straight into a garden.
Should I fertilise my garden in a Canberra Winter?
At Professional Plant Supplies we recommend fertilising in Spring and Autumn. In Winter there is little point as the soil is too cold for the plants to take up the nutrients.
